Weddings at Work had its Christmas Party last Friday, Nov. 24 held at Fernwood Gardens. We were at fernwood around 830 p.m. already. We saw Delby and Trez of Delby Bridal Gowns (www.delbybrides.com) at the parking area who, like us just arrived too. We were also seated together at last years w@w Xmas Party held at Villa Immaculada. Lucky for me because I enjoyed talking with Delby who is super nice contrary to her snobbish looks. And I admire her because she so super poised with her matching well done hair and make up.
We met new suppliers as well who were already seated on the table we occupied. Cherry Pacheco Uy – (Make Up Artist and Editor-in-Chief of Disney Princess, Summit (www.cherrypachecouy.com); Karen Marek of Blushing Bride – she’s Karen Timbol of That’s Entertainment (www.theblushingbride.us) along with Ariel and Maya. We even joined the gown making contest made of tissue (I joined this last year too), but the male suppliers won judged with the loudest applause. he! he! he! We were given mini directors chair as consolation prizes, it’s cute nga eh!
Lots of raffle prizes were given. Gleoh even won Vienna Chocolate Cake from the raffle which I ate right after we got home. The calendars we received as tokens were super nice, i love the layout – reminds me to make my scrapbook layouts for the holidays. I hope to meet the winners of the Gift Certificates we gave out too.
This yearly party is a very fun way in meeting suppliers from the same industry and in having a good time with fellow suppliers and w@wies too. Congratulations to the Top 10 wedding suppliers, the top 5 wedding suppliers and to Paul Vincent for winning the top wedding supplier for the year 2006. Congrats also to John and Benz Rana for another successful W@W Christmas Party.
